I am removing a Dell mini with a 16gb SSD as well as it has Ubuntu preinstalled upon it. Can we reformat it with Windows XP if we longed for to or am we stranded with a OS? Thanks in allege
The $99 mini suggest usually had a ubuntu option.

you wont be able to load XP more then likely as the program is hard enceoded to the unit
even if you could load it youd be slower then molasses in winter up hill

It seems that you could install xp since other mini 9′s come with it. Before you do, find out where you can download the xp drivers. I couldn’t find them.
(And why didn’t you just have it preinstalled with xp?)

Yes Dude, you just want to wait until Dell upload all the drivers for this mini Laptop.
Or you can try all the Drivers from different laptops (that is what i’m going to do on mine!)
Why chose Linux over XP…? LOL you save money doing that!. and Linux it’s a good OS.
