it is lifeless so i need to whet it how do i do this but ruining a knife edge edge means upon my prior knife edge my call i sensory it regulating an electric kitchen knife edge sharpener as well as it began to decay how to i whet a knife edge edge upon my swell but ruining it

use a double sided oilstone. make smooth even strokes back and forth on both sides and all will be well. and don’t ever use a “diamond” stone or kitchen sharpener EVER!!!!

i have a leatherman that ive had many years, i was told by a person that i knew to use very fine emery cloth,i have been sharpening it now for a very long time and have never had any problems.hope this helps
