recover it. ps/I do not have any backup alternative than bureau default. Please it is really urgent!!!!!!

if your in the uk :-
start — control panel –reginal and language –languages –
press the DETAILS BUTTON
default input should be english uk
below that check for the keyboard … is it set to uk ? if not then press ADD and select UK — then set at default and delete the US keyboard
all should be good now ..
PS the @ sign is still there its just on a different key – try SHIFT + 3 or 4 or 5
Yep, this is what it is – the factory reinstall has set your keyboard to the wrong region. You’ll find that the (@) symbol is now the (") key.
